Product Manager - Advanced Analytics and AI

Our Team
We are on a mission to make Handelsbanken a leader in using advanced analytics and AI to deliver superior products, service and experience to our customers. This involves applying statistics, machine learning and other technologies in a wide range of areas such as content personalization, product development and business strategy.

We work with other teams throughout the bank in an environment characterized by initiative, collaboration and innovation to tackle business challenges by predicting outcomes, understanding complex data relationships and constructing models that contribute to a better experience for our customers.

Your Role
As Product Manager you will be responsible for maximizing the business value output from our two data science teams. Your delivery responsibility stretches from idea to industrialization and you will be part of building and shaping our Advanced Analytics and AI team.

The role encompasses an exceptional learning opportunity, in which you together with highly motivated and merited colleagues will solve some of the business’ most complex challenges, which help shape the future of the financial industry. Furthermore, it is an opportunity to leverage your leadership and communication capabilities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

You will both outline strategical direction and be involved in the team focus areas. This involves tasks and responsibilities such as:

• Design advanced analytics solutions together with business stakeholders, the analytics teams and the Lead Data Scientist to maximize impact; function as the link and catalyst 
• Pressure-test algorithms from a business logic perspective and develop value-proofs/ business cases 
• Support analysis and verification of model output in order to help data scientists improve model accuracy
• Support the expansion of the advanced analytics team through branding, communication and other activities 
• Inform and gather input from stakeholders and leaders across the broader organization
• Generate ideas and define future analytics use cases together with business

About You

• You have a master’s degree, PhD or similar in Business, Engineering or other relevant advanced degree with above average academic results
• You are self-reliant and business oriented with a pragmatic mindset and an interest in tech
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in a position requiring strong analytical skills
• 2+ years of team or project management experience
• Good understanding of AI use cases together with an ability to understand business operations and translate them into well-defined analytical deliverables
• Know in depth what it means to be a data-driven organization
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• You understand Swedish at an advanced level
• Experience working with advanced analytics tools and technologies or digital development teams is meriting
• Experience from the financial industry is a meriting
